Sales Representative, Coronary

Job Description and Requirements

You will spend your time promoting, selling and servicing Medtronic’s products within a give geographical region. This will mean planning visits to hospitals with a view to developing profitable relationships with physician, doctors, nurses and other stakeholders.

  • Utilize sales calls, field visits to develop business
  • Educate customers and develop therapies within coronary Therapies that is alligned with the company’s mission and growth strategies;
  • Coordinate and implement sales and service efforts;
  • Communicate corporate, geography and regional/area mission, goals and activities;
  • Managing budgets and forecasts;
  • Develop ethical, long-term customer relationships and represent Medtronic management to customers – including the training and education of both existing and competitive customers to gain incremental business
  • Ability and consistency in conducting structured field visits to the assigned geography.  Frequency of visits should be sufficient enough to ensure market coverage whether in the cities or the peripheries.
  • Actively looking for initiatives and execution tools that ensure and maximize the growth in therapy penetration.
  • Ability to spend time in Bahrain as needed
  • Flexibility in working hours to support the business as needed (occasional evenings/weekends)
Must Haves
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Medical or business field
  • Formal sales experience, ideally in healthcare
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Arabic language
  • Honest and ethical
  • Must be computer literate at an intermediate level
  • Lateral thinker and solution orientated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self motivated and committed
  • Willingness to learn from colleagues and management
