Product Manager

Job Description and Requirements

We are seeking to hire a resourceful and pragmatic Product Manager that is capable of transforming our strategic vision into a working suit of products while bridging the gap between our stakeholders, designers, and the technical team.   Ideally you will bring the team around a balanced backlog that provides value and is aligned with Jawaker’s strategy. You are also capable of understanding your product inside out and prioritizing what needs to be done to produce results within well-defined sprints. You should also be aware of the details of the product and be able to test it to ensure that the product is evolving according the defined requirements.  

Role and Responsibilities 

As a Product Owner, you are expected to:

  • Own the full product/game lifecycle management from inception to launch including making insight-driven recommendations, writing clear and actionable specifications, working with multidisciplinary teams (user feedback, design, art, and programming) to implement core features on time and for greatest impact.
  • Scope and prioritize features based on business and player impact.
  • Possess the capacity to analyze sprint results and share learnings across the team and business.
  • Fully comprehend the player experience and audience psychology. 
  • Identify player needs and spot opportunities to build features that improve engagement and retention.
  • Advise on best marketing strategies and channels for user acquisition
  • Grow the user base and delight our players to ensure a solid engaged gaming community.
  • Lead the game design process including understanding and developing game mechanics, dynamics, and aesthetics and the ability to translate them into rules and specifications that may be programmed by the developers.
  • Design and refine monetization strategies for free-to-play mobile games.
  • Ensure that the UX and UI design processes reflect the desired outcomes by working with the designers to leverage user insights and motivations.
  • Generate expected outcomes by analyzing data from existing games and use this to advise team leaders on long term decision making and roadmap planning.
  • Exhibit sound product judgment in formulating product strategy and presenting clear measurable objectives that will lead to achieving our business goals.
  • Provide valuable input into business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics.
  • Build knowledge and understanding of data driven insights within the rest of the team through regular communication and the creation of relevant dashboards and reports.




  • University Degree in Computer science, Computer engineer, IT, or any related fields.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Remarkable product instincts and creativity.
  • Passion for mobile games and publishing live titles that entertain millions of players around the world.
  • Ability to focus and identify key product problems and opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize activities based on value to drive success.
  • Strong communication and project management skills. 
  • Ability to collaborate with and inspire cross-discipline teams to achieve goals.
  • Strong drive to understand WHY players play and HOW they behave and ability to translate this into features and services.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. 
  • Ability to find answers to business questions and foresee upcoming trends using a data-driven approach via hands on exploration of data using business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in optimizing product features after release through A/B testing and data driven iteration.
  • Ability to summarize complex problems, break the into workable chunks, and present them concisely to stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience in handling the intricacies of live-operations of a successful free-to-play mobile game.
  • Must be a self-starter, a team player and driven.
  • Former mobile games experience is a plus.
