Hospital Service Delivery Improvement Officer

Job Description and Requirements

Job Description:

  1.  Assist participating hospitals in improving quality of maternal and newborn services through a continuous quality improvement collaborative process.
  2. Follow up the implementation of evidence based practices to ensure standardization of services provision in participating hospitals.
  3. Provide technical support including coaching, on-the-job training, and training sessions.
  4. Conduct scheduled field visits to provide technical support regarding the RMNCH+ services.
  5.  Perform data collection, sampling and documentation to monitor the project’s indicators ensuring accuracy, timeliness and relevancy of information.
  6. Prepare relevant technical reports /field visit report.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in medicine, nursing, or other health area with around 3 – 5 years’ experience in hospital service delivery required.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written English and Arabic are required.
  3. Work experience in USAID- or other donor-funded health programs also preferred.
  4. Experience in data analysis and quality improvement is preferred.
